Privacy
Short version: the documents you open in Unfela never leave your Mac. We see personal data only when you buy a license or write to us, and we keep only what we need to deliver and restore that license.
The app
Unfela reads invoices, receipts and e-mails on your Mac. The documents, the extracted values, your confirmations and your settings are stored locally on your Mac and are never sent to us or to anyone else. The app makes no network requests of its own: no analytics, no crash reporting, no account. When on-device AI is used, it is Apple Intelligence running on your Mac.
Your license file is checked offline. Opening a link in the app (for example, to buy Mac Pro) opens this website in your browser.
This website
unfela.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Fonts and images are served from our own site. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
When you buy Mac Pro
Payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record. Polar collects your payment details, billing information and e-mail address under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details.
After a successful payment, Polar sends us your e-mail address and the order. Our license service then:
- creates a license file for your e-mail address and signs it,
- stores the order ID, product, your e-mail address, the license and the dates it was created and sent,
- e-mails the license to you through Resend, our e-mail provider.
The license service runs on Railway in the European Union. We keep these records for as long as your license exists, so we can send it again if you lose it, and for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We use them for nothing else: no newsletters, no marketing.
When you write to us
If you e-mail us, we use your message and address to answer you, and delete them when they are no longer needed.
Legal basis (GDPR)
We process purchase data to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to meet legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), and we process website delivery data in our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Write to the address below. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
